Out of the Box

Description

It's time to take some of the most common instruments in your studio space – a mat, a short box and the short box pole - and put them to work in with a new purpose and begin to think “Out of the Box”! This workshop is designed to give you new ways to work with the tools you already have. When you have limited time and space, creativity is a must, so let's show you new ways to create a challenging, efficient workout that can be progressed from beginner to athlete without leaving the comfort of the mat. Come see how far you can go with a lot of creativity and very little equipment.

At the end of the workshop the attendee will:

1.) Have a new appreciation of equipment you already have on hand.

2.) Have a customizable workout that can be used for beginners to athletes.

3.) Learn new ways to create the classical Shapes in Space in non-traditional ways.

This workshop will challenge your “teacher’s eye” to create new and challenging movements that don’t compromise the intent of the original work. Furthermore, this workshop will infuse new life into the idea of what you can with limited equipment.

3. Within 48 hours of the workshop conclusion you will receive a recorded version that will be viewable for 2 weeks time.
