The Tower offers endless opportunities for incorporating unilateral training into both Pilates classes and private sessions. In this workshop, we will learn new choreography on each part of the Tower that will challenge your client’s Powerhouse in a whole new way. We will cover programming tips for sequencing unilateral work into your Tower classes to add a bit of challenge and a dose of fun! We will also cover the benefits of unilateral variations and how they can help improve your client’s movement quality and Powerhouse strength.
Objectives:
At the end of the workshop the attendee will:
1) Be able to identify 3 benefits of unilateral training in Pilates
2) Learn unilateral variations on all parts of the Tower (arm springs, leg springs, rollback bar, and push through bar)
3) Confidently sequence unilateral work into Tower classes and private sessions
