The Beginning Lesson

Description

As teachers of the Pilates Method, our toolbox is packed full of information & knowledge. We have the full breadth of the system downloaded into our brains: many diverse & exciting exercises, apparatus, orders, rhythms, “rules”, etc.

With all this information across the spectrum of the system, we as teachers often are very skilled working with the initiated client, often due to full teaching schedules & often one of our biggest areas of opportunity lies in revisiting the skill & magic in teaching the new & uninitiated client.

If you’re curious to help make your beginning clients absolutely fall in love with the Pilates Method from their first lesson, which feeds/nurtures us as teachers as well as our businesses, this workshop is for you.

Why should I take this workshop?

Together we will revisit the transformational body of work we know as the basic system, paramount really seeing & teaching the body in front of us rather than just layering down exercise choreography upon a body, consider the priorities of these clients, and know when to bend or break the “rules”.

Workshop Objectives:

-Revisit the Basic System for success in programming for the beginning client.

-Loosen the tethers on the "rules" for working with beginners

-Refresh & inspire your teaching to be able to work with any new client

3. Within 48 hours of the workshop conclusion you will receive a recorded version that will be viewable for 2 weeks time.
