Take your mat to the next level. Progress your students and yourself with the LII Classical Mat Certification where you will learn a host of new classical exercises from the intermediate and advanced systems as well as new add-ins. This online course has been designed to deepen and broaden your understanding of Pilates Mat in both your personal practice and teaching. The online study includes three private mentoring sessions with a Peak Pilates® MI to help guide you toward understanding and success. Upon successful completion you will be awarded the Peak Pilates Level II Mat Instructor Certification.

Course Objectives:

* Learn to perform and teach the LII Mat repertoire, optional add-in exercises, and endings.

* Prepare to lead an advanced group mat class.

* Expand your teaching tools and vocabulary.

* Gain a deeper understanding of movement.

* Learn to see and correct gross movement patterns errors to keep your class safe and moving.

* Explore the connection from the Powerhouse to the periphery.

* Gain confidence in touch techniques

How will I be assessed? You will take an online theory exam, and then complete an evaluation with your MI Mentor of your technique and group teaching.

3. Take the test. (You must score 80% to pass. If you do not pass, you may retake the test.)
